Mama Priyaa Saa Kva Gatha Hathaa Vaa Shamsasva Me Shokahathasya Sarvam"

 Sri Rama killed 14000 rakshasas single handed. Ravana feared Rama.Hence he thought if he abducted Seetha Rama would become weak.  He usurped Seetha with the help of Maricha. He was agonised by the missing Seetha. He searched throughout the forest for Seetha.. He cried, sobbed. He hugged each tree and asked for Seetha? He easked Godavari river, Prasravana mountain and others.

   After questioning the vanadevatha, the nadhi devatha, parvatha devatha he began questioning the devas directly. Prominently he asks the Sun and Vayu devatha. The Devas always help indirectly. The Surya and Vayu devatha too do not come directly but help Rama indirectly. Surya comes as Sugriva and Vayu comes as Hanuman. In this sloka Rama questions Surya about the whereabouts of Seetha “ Hey Surya, Knower of punya and papa of all beings in this world,, The witness of the activities of all Tell me where my Seetha is. Iam desperate to know about her.”
